Nehemiah 9:38

Promises made and broken. Before Nehemiah left, the people promised to commit to God in many ways. When he came back (Chapter 13), things were not as they promised. Nehemiah cleaned out the temple, restored the Sabbath and more. The enemy within can be promising something and not following through, or saying or promising something never intending to keep your word.
